Automation & Developers
Overview
Automate PeekHire with the API, webhooks, no-code tools, or an AI assistant.
PeekHire can do more than the app on its own. Whether you write code or prefer no-code tools, you can connect PeekHire to the rest of your stack.
Choose the Right Tool
- REST API — read and manage campaigns, applications, and users from your own software. Best when you're building something custom. See REST API.
- Webhooks — get notified the moment something happens (a new application, a stage change) so you can react in real time. Best for keeping other systems in sync. See Webhooks.
- MCP server — let an AI assistant read and work with your PeekHire data through a safe, scoped connection. See MCP server.
No-Code Automation
You don't have to write code. Tools like Make, Zapier, and n8n can call the REST API and listen to webhooks for you. A few common recipes:
- Post new applications to a Slack or Teams channel.
- Add candidates to a spreadsheet or your CRM.
- Send a custom email when a candidate reaches a stage.
Authentication at a Glance
Programmatic access uses API keys you create in the app. Treat a key like a password, scope it to what it needs, and rotate it if it's ever exposed. See API keys.
The developer tools are available on paid plans. See
Billing & plans.
