Introduction

What PeekHire is, who it's for, and how this documentation is organized.

PeekHire is a modern hiring platform that helps small teams run great recruiting without the overhead of a traditional applicant tracking system. You publish a campaign (a role you're hiring for), share its apply page, and review applications as candidates come in — with ratings, comments, and clear hiring stages to keep everyone aligned.

Who It's For

  • Founders and hiring managers who want to fill roles quickly without wrestling with complicated software.
  • Small recruiting teams that need a shared place to review candidates, leave notes, and make decisions together.
  • Operations and technical users who want to automate parts of the process with the API, webhooks, or an AI assistant via the MCP server.

You don't need to be technical to get value from PeekHire. The recruiting features work entirely from the app — the developer features are optional.

What You Can Do

  • Create and publish hiring campaigns with a branded apply page.
  • Collect applications by video, audio, or text — no candidate account needed.
  • Move candidates through hiring stages, rate them, and discuss as a team.
  • Invite teammates with role-based permissions.
  • Use your own custom domain, sender email, and branding.
  • Automate workflows with the REST API, webhooks, and the MCP server.
